first outing with my new nissin super pro-square tenkara rod

 went to to local park pond and caught a few fish on the tenkara rod.

 two short tenkara rods i made out of bamboo.  they are one piece.  the fish were caught on the 5 footer today.  they look small in the pics but the red ears are pretty good size.  they were caught on their beds with a james wood kebari.

 made this tenkara line holder out of rubber bands and two slices of deer antler.  it's mounted on my dragontail hydra.

 about 9 months ago i discovered tenkara and fixed line fly fishing.  i have been catching a tone of fish and having a great time.
