Homemade camp food

This is a batch of Cuban Black Bean Soup. I loaded all the broth in the container with the beans and rice. That ensures I get all the seasonings included.

After about 10 hours in the dehydrator it looks like this. Doesn't look like much, but when it plumps up it is plenty.

God Bless Yall!

Holy Moly! That looks GOOD! :)

Are you feeding it into the dehydrator wet? I haven't tried loading anything like soup yet.

What kind of rehydration time are you looking at for a serving out in the woods?

Thanks,

B

i put the wet soup in the small bowl made for dehydrating and set it on one of the trays.

boil the water and it rehydrates in 10 to 15 minutes.
